Find a Pharmacy
Most local pharmacies accept Mass Advantage. Let’s find a convenient one that works best for you.
Coverage Determination, Appeals and Grievances
Coverage for some drugs may require permission in advance—called Coverage Determination. You can also request a decision be reviewed—called an Appeal. Find information here on coverage determinations, appeals, and grievances.
And a spoonful of sugar...
We also offer extra savings and services to help you get your medications easily and affordably, and take them safely.
As a new or continuing member of Mass Advantage, you may require a transition refill. Transition refills let you get temporary coverage for drugs that are not on your plan’s formulary or that have certain coverage restrictions (such as prior authorization or step therapy).
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Benefit
As a Mass Advantage member, you get a quarterly OTC allowance that you can use every three months for everyday health items. Like what? Products for skin care, pain relief, colds and allergies, first aid, eye care…the list goes on. It’s easy to order online, through our free mobile app, or by phone.
Medication Therapy Management
Taking a lot of medications? We offer expert help so you can be sure you’re taking your medicines safely. Qualified pharmacists will carefully review all your prescriptions—supplements, too. They’ll check for any potential interactions and make sure you know how to use each one. They’re also here to answer questions and help address any concerns you may have with the costs of your medications. After this comprehensive review, you’ll receive a summary of this discussion for future reference.
